For an end of year celebration, we took over the Eye Filmmuseum and built the evening around the city itself. Overlooking the IJ, with the skyline as backdrop, guests arrived by ferry and stepped straight onto a red carpet entrance. The night was set up as a cinematic route through the building, using film, light and the setting to anchor the experience in Amsterdam after dark.
Inside, the main space held a walking dinner with food stations and a live band facing the water. From there, guests moved through the building into different rooms, including a dedicated dancefloor, a karaoke lounge and screening rooms showing a curated selection of short films from the Eye catalogue, all centred around Amsterdam and its makers.
As the evening progressed, the focus shifted towards the dancefloor, where DJ sets and visuals took over. Guests moved freely between rooms, with music, film and the city outside always in view, before the night came together as one full celebration to close the year.
